Ecoreco is committed to uplifting the lives of informal sector workers, commonly referred to as ‘Kabadies,’ who are involved in E-waste collection. These individuals often live in impoverished conditions and face health challenges due to their profession. To address these issues, we have introduced the ‘Ecoreco Enviro Education’ program, with the aim of training approximately 300,000 Kabadies over the next decade. This training will equip them with the knowledge and skills needed for safe E-waste handling, benefitting their health and the environment. Moreover, this initiative will improve their earnings, provide access to education for their children, and enhance social well-being.
