Mr. Soni is responsible for steering the company’s strategic growth initiatives & assembling a team of exceptional leaders. His forward-looking approach has led Ecoreco to explore new horizons, including a franchisee-led retail model, aimed at sharing the opportunities in E-waste management with stakeholders.

As a recognized expert in E-waste management, Mr. Soni identified the potential of India’s E-waste management industry as early as 2005, positioning himself as a pioneer in the field. His insights are highly sought after by industry peers, policymakers, regulators, and government officials.

Mr. Soni is a qualified Cost Accountant & a member of several industry associations. He has also served as a member of the Expert Group on E-waste Management established by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. His dedication to positioning India as a global hub for E-waste management underscores his commitment to sustainable practices.

Serving as an Executive Director, Shashank Soni leads the development of a pan-India marketing and sales strategy. He also oversees factory operations and commercial negotiations. With international exposure and an MBA from Cardiff University, UK, Shashank is driving Ecoreco’s transformation into an integrated pan-India E-waste management company.

His extensive experience in the fields of Accounts & Audit brings immeasurable value to Ecoreco. With a well-established career in these domains, Giriraj contributes a wealth of knowledge & proficiency that significantly enhances the financial integrity & accountability of the organization. His expertise ensures that Ecoreco maintains meticulous financial records, upholds transparent accounting practices, and adheres to the highest standards of financial governance. His seasoned insights & proficiency in audit procedures play a critical role in verifying compliance & accuracy, reinforcing Ecoreco’s commitment to financial responsibility & ethical financial management.

Dr. Sandip Chatterjee is a seasoned policy expert and technocrat with over 35 years of experience in technology policy, research commercialization, and strategic innovation. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), USA, and as an Adjunct Professor at IIT Mandi, specializing in sustainable electronics and circular economy.

He previously served as Senior Director & Group Coordinator at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, where he led key national initiatives in additive manufacturing, digital data protection, cyber law, and resource efficiency. He was instrumental in formulating India’s policy roadmaps in these areas and has represented the country in various international forums including the UN, EU, and Wassenaar Arrangement.

Dr. Chatterjee has published 90+ research papers, holds 10+ patents, and has delivered over 5000 public lectures globally. He received the President’s Award in 2013 for his contributions to science and technology policy.

He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Calcutta and a Ph.D. from the University of Delhi, with research at the National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi.

As an Executive Director, Aruna Soni oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including HR and administration. Her extensive experience, spanning over two decades, has been instrumental in building a people-centric and customer-focused organization. Her leadership has been crucial in establishing an efficient administrative backend for scaling up the company.
